What's the difference between taking it as a sietary supplement and "creatine loading?"

If you take liquid based creatine, you don't have to go through the loading process.

afaik the loading cycle is just the first week or two where you have to take 2-3x's the normal dosage to "load and activate" the creatine uptake.

After that cycle, all you have to do is maintain.
