it's hard to tell because part of the shot is blocked but if you look carefully. it looks like he didn't counter steer at all...
in fact it looks like he was steering away from the direction the rear end was going :rick:

Looks like it all started when he throttle lifted as his suspension was rebounding causing the rear to shimmy and he turned in casuing the car to spin.
HPDE wouldv'e helped him there.
