I believe we're gonna get laid off from work here in the next 2 months. Hmmmm. . . .. . . .
What shall I do for money and a new job? Anyone hiring in the Kansas City Area?

Chill on unemployment for a bit while looking for something. It sucks... but.. it's useful if you can't find something right away. (And I admit the break IS nice)

Werd, i need that severence package, and my unemployment will only be good as long as i have the guys renting from me. If they move out, i've got that house to pay for on my unemployment. I don't want unemployment because I hate when it's taken advantage of. (No offense to anyone, I know it's sometimes hard to get a job when times are like they are) I've always worked and if I stay home, i'll go nuts. Have to be doing something. I just hate when I had things in line, bought the house, getting the new truck, then going for the boat. Now, I have to work to keep the house, postpone the truck and boat. Oh well, that's life. Find a new job and keep on making money.

No company I know in the Seattle area is seriously hiring. Yeah there's job postings, but alot of those "openings" are just used by HR to gather data. C'mon, the recession is getting worse and you think people are going to start hiring???
