Default Hmm, maybe I don't need to use protein..

Was talking to one of my coworkers/weightlifter/nutrition specialist(degree). Says from what I have done in the past and how I eat today, that he thinks I should pass on protein powder and just lift naturally. Thoughts?

that's what he says, people lift harder after they get on the protein, other than that, its just extra calories. I think I'm going to stick to lifting naturally since I already gain muscle mass fast as is.

your body can only process so much protein.

Yeah, that's what he was saying, he says that most people get enough protein from a regular diet and don't need that much protein intake per day. Thinks it's better to just eat more foods high in protein rather than take the powder. I kind of agree, I think I'm just going to lift naturally for now. h:

I refuse to take extra protein. I like everything natural. Just eat more chicken breast

werd....end up shitting most of it out anyway

for those who take huge doses, spread it out throughout the day, instead of trying to ingest a 40g shake in 3 minutes.
