Default CD Player question

My CD player is an MP3 player also I think (pioneer 8400mp)
Now do I just put my mp3 songs on the cd and dont have to burn the songs? Is that how it works?
Someone said I can put a lot more than 15 songs on a cd that way.

You can save tons of MP3s if they're saved as a file. I don't know if they have to be saved on a cd tho. Does your player have a USB port... ?

use some sort of transfer program and save the info as a data cd instead of a music CD...if you save the data as a music cd, it will transfer the songs to WAV, and it will track by minutes (70 something) instead of MB's (700 or so).

So you're saying that you thought that a MP3 Disc was a CD-R burned with 80 minute limits as a Audio CD??

:lmfao:

But seriously, what burning program do you have? If you have Nero, just use the wizard and choose to burn a Data CD. You can make folders as well for the songs. Good Luck :goodjob:.

just like RB and 94civicex said, burn them as data files, and you can sort them in folders also (most decks cant read subfolders though). i used to fit 170-190 songs on one disc.

yep, depending on how big the file is or how long the song is, you can put more on there. I have about 270 songs on the disc in my HU now.

You can KINDA see it:

Yea, you can fit whatever the MB of your disk is, usually 700-800 I think. Personally, all my music has higher bitrates (192-320), so I couldn't fit that many on my CD. I think that your HU also plays WMA files, which you can fit a hell of a lot more on if you convert them supposedly.
