one night some old lady called me in the middle of the night, my girlfriend answerd and handed me the phone sayinbg they were asking for dan. some half awake i say hello and some old lady starts talking about how she can't go on cuz its hurts so bad and she wants it to be over. i got all freeaked out and asked who it was... turns out some old lady was in a retirment homewas on her death bed and she tried to call her son named dan (same as me) but mis-dialed and called me..... she apologized and hung up with the quickness....
i couldn't sleep thinkin some old lady jus offed herself....but, the next day the same number showed up on my caller i.d. so im guessin she didn't do herself in but damn that was freaky...

 

hah, people who call people to tell them theyre going to off themselves are usually bullshitting. you cant ignore it, but dont lose sleep over it.

 

it was some old lady calling her son, not some teenage kid who didn't get asked to the prom

hmm, well one thing you learn about people...even though teenagers are a bit meladramatic, theyre not that much different than the rest of the world. old people pull that bullshit too, friend.

like i say, its freaky, but i wouldnt get too tore up if she didnt call back the next day.

 

Who cares? She is probably old as hell and dying of some disease. Let her leave the world with dignity.

 

Damn... don't worry too much over this... I mean, what can you do? Try and find this other "Dan"? It's a tough situation. Whether or not she was really intent, I know I'd be freaked out too.
