i was just stuck at my friends house for two hours with no power (incredibly, they seem to care about my safety more than my own parents).

we were outside watching it for a bit and lightning hit a block away, you could actually feel the charge

its been going for 2 1/2 hours and its still thundering and lightning every five seconds.

oh well, i made it home ok :thumbup:

it stormed here about 4 hours ago.....i went to the mall to meet *someone* for dinner....i sat in my car b/c i was terrified to get out....lighting was striking all around me. car alarms were going off, trees were falling down. i was so scared. then we got into the restaurant and the lights started blinking...it stopped though by the time we were done...it was just a real quick one, but it was powerful! be careful driving in the shit girl!

 

yeah, they're cool until lightning hits your house like five times. my friend normally enjoys them, even she was scared.

i have a view at my house where you can see the entire lehigh valley (which is big), and it when i got home you could see all these black spots where people didn't have power.

 

"someone?" can i infer that this is someone you aren't "allowed" to be talking to?

thats what its like here, except its lasting a lot longer. the drive wasn't too bad though, it started to slow down. lots of debris in the road though.

 

im allowed to talk to him.....u know who i mean.

 

We got some lightening and thunder and a little bit of rain about 20 mins ago. But it's since then stopped.

It's been thundering and lightning for about 3-4 hours now... Don't know how bad it is tho.. have the AC on.
