in the V1 -> V2, they had to even up the powers and cornering ability of the cars, but failed to realize that the DC2 was doing 1000x better on the expert courses, making it easy for a noob to get decent times on them. Fawk the DC2 in the game. I'm all rotary.

The Integra Type R is the best overall car in the game wet or dry weather when chosen with Parts Course A. Extremely cheap, Stock one can beat a 100,000 pt RX-7 Type R.
The Other really good car is the Course A Trueno GT-APEX, you get the new motor at the end..
That car should be chosen if you plan on playing the game regularly. The Type R is the best if you only play from time to time.

I know this sounds gay b/c Initial D is all about gettin sideways, but if u can grab an ITR, you'll own...that thing handles like none other in the game, and while all the RWD boys are losing traction/going sideways, the ITR takes most of the curves like a champ...

the fd is the best on the first 3 courses, while the dc2 is the best on the last 3.
my best with an itr on expert 2 is a low 2:38.. i don't use the itr anymore on account of how cheap it is....
