my kitchen floor... don't mind the dog...

apparently the rest of the house has hard woods, but the kitchen was re-done and has three different widths of wood, which gives it a great look.

I see you are using the Bruce hardwood

I have the same in my house and love it, like you said not tough but time consuming for sure.
Looks good.

I wish it was already beat up hardwood, and I would have paid to have them refinished. refinishing is a bitch, the stairs are already hardwood so I am gonna try and refinish those instead of ripping them out to replace them with the hickory. if I can get the stain close enough I will call it a day. The way they built the treads for the hardwood into the stairs I would litterally have to demo the entire stairs and rebuild them from scratch. So I figure I will try the refinish route first and if it doesn't work, well I guess it's new stairs time lol

Lol, that's how I spent my July this year. Holy shit did that kill my back. The damn nail gun and hammer were like 40 pounds.

Looks awesome Lee.

Wheres a good place to get quality hardwood for flooring? The more I get into renovations, the more hesitant I am to buy anything from HD or Lowes.

Also, whats a good wood for pets? I've seen some hardwood where they had dogs and their nails dented the fuck out of the floor.
