Default Any wine drinkers here?

I need to buy some wine for my sister-in-law for her birthday. She likes Cabernet Sauvignon. So I'm looking for something good around $30-40 a bottle. I know nothing about wine. Please help.

Go onto bevmo's site and research. Their rating system is pretty good.

This.
And for new, I'd recommend Heitz and Beaulieu Napa Valley.

Rick introduced me to Heitz, Nickel and Nickel, Prisoner.

I recently went to Michael Mondovi...good stuff for cheap.

My favorite Cab is Silver Oak, but it is $100 a bottle.

Copolla makes a decent cab (the Director's Cut Cabernet). If there's a Bevmo near you, they have wine tastings every Saturday. Whoever runs the wine tasting can point you in the right direction. During the rest of week, you can usually find someone at Bevmo who can make some good suggestions.

I had Coppola Ivory Label cab last week. I think it was only $10. Tasted $10 too
