Default FIrst we get screwed on cars, video games

now internet access

http://www.wired.com/wired/archive/11.08/pipedream.html

Softbank has spent close to $2 billion building out a gigabit Ethernet network and leasing copper wire from Japanese telecom giant Nippon Telegraph and Telephone. The result is a service, offered under the Yahoo! BB brand, that provides Internet access to Japanese homes at 12 megabits per second - eight times faster than what Americans are used to - for about $21 a month. Every day, as many as 7,000 new subscribers fire up their plug-and-play DSL modems, making Yahoo! BB the world's fastest-growing broadband service.

Gbit internet? First we need to have DSL/Cable that's faster than 10mbit.... then we neet to pass off 100mbit... then we can think about 1,000mbit.

*sigh* I wish though.... I wish.

i'm not sayin actual gbit internet i'm sayin internet connection thats faster than what the current 10/100 lan connection can handle.

theres only two options, 10/100 and the next up is gbit...no middle ground...i'm just saying

and yeah...we need to get connections that actually max out the current connections
