Default I got System Shock 2!

But it won't run on XP.

If I set up a dual boot, do I have to install 98SE before XP?

It WILL run! The problem is that it won't install.

Run this at the command line in your CD drive: setup –lgntforce

I got it installed, but it freezes when gameplay starts.
I tried running it in '98 compatibility mode, but it wouldn't even start.

It seems to be working after I installed the patch from irrationalgames.com. http://www.3dgamers.com/dl/games/sys...patch.exe.html
We'll see how it does after I play it a little bit longer. It seems kind of choppy right now.

I got it to run now. Turns out it has problems when you're running dual processors (or hyperthreading)...all you have to do is set the game to use only one processor.
