Default Somebody took the HorsepowerFreaks Supra for a joy-ride / blew motor.

I'm posting this thread here because I'm hoping someone saw who did this....

I went to pick up our car from the body shop two days ago and was pleasantly and unpleasantly suprised. The body shop did an impeccable job, each fender was brought out 1 inch using existing metal, clear lighting was added, other minor body mods and a custom interior was done.

Here are 2 pictures.

However, the body shop had left the car for a day at an alignment shop (I believe it was Les Schwab) and a detail shop in Gresham, Oregon. Someone drove the crap out of it and busted the rod in the #5 hole. Here's a video of the damage.

If anyone saw our Supra during the past month who lives in Gresham, Oregon or knows anything about how this happened, or who did it, please call us at (503) 760-7444

Take care,
Chris.

If the body shop took it to the alignment & detail shops, they are the one who have to pay to have it fixed. They then have to deal with who ever(if not them) damaged the car to get the money back.

Good luck.

The body shop owes you a new engine - legally, it was in their "care and custody" once you left your keys with them. They should know this, and should already be fixing things. It sounds like you want some criminal prosecution ... I would too. Good luck.

I bet it was the detail shop, i had my bosses S55 for a day and got it washed and when I went to pick it up it was'nt there and then I see it pulling into the back. I nearly snatched th guy out of the car when I realized it was the manager. he said he heard a noise and was just checking it out. after a 20 minute thrashing I finally left and went to the their main location where the district manager resided. I explained to him what happened aske dhim if he could afford to buy a $150,000.00 car. In the end we got free year pass worth $350.00 and when I take any of my cars to get waxed or whatever I just sit there and wait even if it takes 2 hours. Can you imagine how I would explain it to my boss if something got ****ed up? The car was like three days old at that point. I wanted to knock that MF out when I saw him pull up. If it were my car i probably would have.

Thanks for the info. I posted it on the NWstreetRacing forum. I appreciate all the feedback. It just amazes me that this goes on. I'd like to set an example and sue whoever did it so at least the company that did it will think twice before ever doing that again.

Take care,
Chris.
