noooo no no. control panel -> user accounts -> (your username) -> change my name

It let me do it just now, no problem.

it let me change my username,..and then it changed that folder :dunno:

control panel
change an account
pick your account
change username

settings-control panel-users accounts-pick the name you want to change, then change it.

like you reinstalled xp on your hd, and you used a different name as your last install? I did that with mine, and it won't let me change my name. so if you want to move the files, you'll have to create a folder, and move everything over manually. That's all the info I've got. :dunno:

download Slackware 9.... burn it. boot from the cd. use it to mount the drive and delete it manually.

Windows might recreate it... but it'll be empty for sure.... if it creates it at allo.
