i've always had great luck with maxtor... even back in the days of sub 1GB drives. WD I've had nothing but bad luck and their method of doing master with slave and single master coufuses about 70% of the people that buys WD drives.

 

:werd: I had a Maxtor 130MB in my first computer, it'd probably still be working today if it wasn't for my friend dropping a hammer on it. Got a 210MB that still works in my dads old pc, got a 6.8GB in my spare pc, a 20GB in the pc set aside for my in car pc project (still haven't gotten around to finishing that ) and a 60GB in my main PC, all Maxtors
