I picked up a 95 EJ for super cheap that was GSR swapped. I sold the motor out and put a d16z6 in it...well that didn't last long....

Do you think a turbo is really needed on a winter "beater" car?

I have a beater. But there's no winter here. If we had winter, I'd drive the Jeep, which is definitely not a beater.

My 2010 Nissan Xterra functions as my winter beater.

I had a '92 4Runner for my winter beater when I had the RSX-S (up until about 2 years ago). But the headgasket blew the day after I sold the RSX.
