Default 15.4" v. 15" laptop screen?

is the 15.4" really worth the extra cost?

how much is the extra cost? i remember paying an $100 to go from a 15" to a 16"...

um.. less features

15.4" 2.4GHz
15" 3.06GHz

$300 difference

so is the widescreen worth it?

hell no. it's still only 15.4"
unless it's a different type of screen.

how so?

15.4" wsxga+ (1600x1024)

15" sxga+ (1280x1024)

only diff is its a widescreen :dunno:

the 15" will be taller
the 15.4" will be wider

if you plan on doing any sorta gaming, the GF4 Ti4200 option on the Inspiron8500 is nice.

I just bought myself a 600m

both his configurations are for the Ultrasharp lcds, so its the same quality, ie wide viewing angles, nice contrast, and bright
