Meet Ralph
..but you can call him Craig.

Rescued this fella after seeing him outside work for about 2 weeks. At first we figured maybe he escaped his home, but it soon became apparent that he was abandoned. We called all the neighbors and no one knew anything, and he wasn't hard to find if you were looking, since he was in our yard all day, munching on clover. I started feeding him carrots, and then named him. At first I didn't feel inclined to catch him (we made jokes about making him our station mascot), because he seemed to have made friends with a wild bunny, but was soon alone again.
Early into the second week I noticed he was hopping funny and was missing fur and had some blood on him. Further inspection yielded he was possibly attacked by something and was jacked up pretty good, so that's when I felt like I should try to get him to a clinic, where he wouldn't have to suffer. A few days went by and I didn't see him, so I was kinda upset and assumed the worst.
This evening I saw him again and was very relieved! I called my girlfriend to get some supplies from the pet store because I was determined to rescue him. We caught him, and are making an appointment at the vet tomorrow. He's doing much better than before, and seems to have healed up rather quickly.

His name is Ralph-Craig because of when I had a passenger in the ambulance. He was worried about his woman and I tried to make some small talk, and asked his name. He said he didn't tell many people his name, but that it was Ralph, but I could call him Craig. We named him this initially as a joke.
He's taken very well to Sarah and likes to be pet and snuggled. We are planning on giving him a loving home, unlike the bastards that abandoned him.

Well, we got him into the vet this afternoon. Ralph-Craig weighs 4.2lbs, and is approx 6 months old (Easter bunny). The vet said he was definitely beat up by something, but not too terribly, and that he is healing well. For some reason, his front left paw lacks nerves and he can't feel anything with it, which is probably why it hops a little weird. He's not sure if it was born that way, or a complication from the attack. He has small cuts all over him, too. He is free of any ticks, fleas, or mites.
Oh, it also appears the Ralph-Craig is a she, and may be having little Ralphies in the near future.. we'll see in 2-3 weeks, assuming he.. she, got knocked up 2 weeks ago :crazyr:
