At department meeting today found out it is either get the shot or wear a mask in patient care areas.

I am getting the flu shot. It is required for me in patient care areas also.
Why wouldn't you get it? I am sure you can get it for free so money isn't an issue. And it reduces your chance of getting the flu.
Keep in mind its not just good for your health it also protects patients (especially the elderly and/or immunosuppressed).

I understand that. But it's different if you work in healthcare. You don't want to be a carrier for the flu if you are already interacting with sick people.
yeh, so it's different...


Well maybe I'm getting one this year because I might go to Europe in November
