Default So ...uhm....How Many of You Actually Paid For Your Car???

Just wondering ,.. cause life sure is hard. I have 3 kids, a wife, an apartment, and $12,000 in credit card bills. I've been trying to buy a set of JDM Look headlights and I havent been able to cause I have a ton of bills to pay.
Not venting. I just get mad at this 17 year old who has his 5th gen looking like something out of a magazine.
Pisses me off.

Technically no, but I'm working right now to pay back around $3,000 to my mom who gave me the money to buy my car. It's basically a no interest loan :happysad:

I paid for mine.
but then again, I don't have any kids, or a wife, any credit card debt, nor do I pay rent.
That's probably why it's easier for the 17 year old kid to hook his car up than it is for you.

i dont know if i can really say that i paid for my car or not...the 1st 6 payments were from SS money i got while Dad was sick, then when he died, i paid it off w/ the lump sum i got....i still say that i paid for it...because i earned the money by being such a wonderful daughter! :happysad:

i dont consider myself one of those lucky spoiled kids whose mommy and/or daddy take them shopping for a car and pay for it! if it hadnt of been for my dad being sick and me getting benefit money, i probably would have a beater instead of my civic. Blessing in disguise...

I bought my car in cash.

All the work being done to it is paid for in cash.

I don't believe in buying cars with loan money...now houses thats another matter.

my mom is helping me out a little bit since I am in school right now and the amount of money I make is not quite enough to pay for the payments outright. I go to school in a city and would be content with out a car, but due to the coop program I need one to get to and from work.
