I remember seeing the body style in a wagon M model before a while back but I had forgotten they looked that good.

Rick can you confirm this for me I am tired of defending the fact that it was an M class wagon already.

It might have been an older 90-95 5-series body.
E34 M5. the wagon body was never sold in the US but several were imported from Europe.

Did the wheels look like this?

To my knowledge I don't believe a E36 92-99 body style was every sold in wagon form in the US and an ///M version was never made.

or did the wheel look like either one of these?

I've seen it twice. Didn't believe myself at first. It's the newer E46 model I think. They look very nice. :drools:

wow interesting!!!

that would mean it was a E36 or E46 but either way that rules out the E34 M5.

I wonder if someone was crazy enough to turn a E46 wagon into their own home made ///M Wagon

that is how the first 3-series wagon was created. by a bmw employee that wanted the extra capacity for his kids he designed and made the rear section himself in his garage!

when he showed it to his boss, then his boss then up to the ceo. Then the decision was made to make that a part of the regular line up.

I'll have to dig some more and see
