Im looking to buy a cheap pair of USED skis/boots. Never owned a pair, do you guys know of a place online that sells them cheap?

Like I said, Im a noob, so point me in the right direction. Im looking for intermediate level, alpine/all-mntn. Im not sure about prices though, because I now that they're relatively cheap now, but when I see $100 skis online I cant help but think that they're absolute shit. Please help a HANer out!

Id love to hear what kind of equipemnt you guys are using, pics are very welcome.

 

Haven't skied in a really long time, but if you know anyone with kids (middle school or high school) then they regularly have ski swaps, at least I did. And you can always check craigslist?

 

i have a pair of fischer rx-8's, they a pretty much all around ski, a couple years old.

a lot of ski shops sell used skis or can recommend a beginner ski for cheap.

they also have tons of ski swaps around here where they sell new stuff on sale and also a bunch of used stuff.

 

if going used, either asking around friends or CL is the way to go. I haven't skied in a couple decades, so I can't say much about what to get, but I know Solomon makes durable stuff.
