Default Any1 into Nitro R/C's?

Hey, I saw these racing around a parking lot the other night, and they look pretty fun. I was looking on ebay, and found out that they are much cheaper than i thought.

Are those good ones? What should I look for? Thanks

I used to have a Nitro powered NSX but I sold it. You'll need a glow plug starter and plenty of Nitro fuel. I recommend buying a couple of spare glow plugs as well.

Don't get sucked in!! lol. I used to be into R/C's and dropped a whole lot of money on it before i kicked the habit. It gets costly maintaining it and stuff. But if you have the time and money, I know there have been r/c's that have been built to run 60-90 mph. They're pretty quick, fun, and when you start getting into racing, it can get very competitive.

Well, is there really any difference between them all, and are there certain ones that there are more accessories for? After a quick search on Ebay, I only found an NSX and 2 Civic bodys.

There are lots of different engines available. Some have more aftermarket than others just like real cars. I wouldn't keep my search limited to Ebay though. Jump on google and look them up or find your phonebook and look up Hobby Stores in your area. Give them a call and tell them what you're looking for.

Yeah, definitely go into your local r/c hobby shop and talk to those guys. They're geeks just like we are car geeks. Also, pick up this month's issue of radio control car action. You can get a ton of information from that magazine. But, definitely don't limit yourself to ebay and be careful buying used. It's just like a used car, you don't know how the last owner treated it.

I specialized in electric myself. It is a little less costly and simple and still fun. Don't worry about the bodies. You can get any body to fit any car. Be more worried about the brands. You will soon learn certain brands = and certain brands = :madfawk:

Of course! What I meant is you can get any kind of car body in any size, so what kind of body it has doesn't really mean anything. And, like you said, you can change bodies for 20 bucks a pop.
