I Hate Suvs
So i park my 00 accord ex in front of my house. Next day I go out to my car to drive to work. SOME MOTHER ****ER ****ing grazed the left rear end of my car. It's definately someone who backed in too early and hit the rear left side. And its a bumper mark that's very high up, putting a crack in my left tail lights and chewing up about a square foot of paint. Only a giant piece of shit american SUV could have hit the side so high and so large. I see these ****ing SUV boats everywhere, with dopey ****ing rich ass soccer moms who drive em who don't know ****ing shit about cars. Oversized suv's have poor vision all around, eat gas like john candy at a buffet, and are ****ing obnoxious. These cars are goddamn road hazards. </rant>

they're slow, impractical, and just plain retarded. No one needs a house boat sized excursion, when a better solution is the minivan. imagine getting into a side impact crash with a boatsized suv, the friggin bumper is gonna nail your skull.

speed has nothing to do with anything. Civics are slow. Who cares.
Impractical? Hauling 6-7 people isn't exactly impractical. Some people have big families. Get over it.
A better solution is a mini van? They look like crap, are SLOWER, can't go off road, and get basically the same gas mileage, and carry the same amount of people.

I didn't read any of this thread but I hate SUVs too. Well, only SUVs with soccer moms or yuppies on cell phones behind the wheel. I don't think you need 22" rims with nobby tires to negotiate the interstate.
