i really find it annoying that people can't HATE gay people. if you HATE gay people, then you are actually gay YOURSELF and hiding it. thats so fucking stupid, i don't fear or think that i'm gay, i just do not like gay people

Except I don't hate the gay people, I just disapprove of homosexuality. and whenever you tell somebody that you think it's wrong, they try to come back at you with the "Oh, you must be gay and in denial"

Hrm... I'll chip in my two cents.
I was raised by my parents with a special understanding of the concept of Marriage. My parents told me that the key to a successful marriage is not the act itself, but having the relationship reach such a point that the only reason to get married should be entirely for the legal benefits. If your relationship reaches that point, the fidelity and responsibility will ALWAYS be there. I mean, all the ring should do is ward people off from hitting on your significant other, and the shared names make the credit applications easier.
Marriage should not be the catalyst to the relationship... that should have happened long before marriage became a conversation item.
Thus, under my personal understanding, same sex marriages pose no problem, cause many same-sex relationships reach that point and stay there. Thus, it would be the next logical step to give equal humans equal rights.
And seeing people of the same sex showing public affection? It may shock you at first, but then, what the hey? After like a week of seeing it, it no longer crosses your mind

this is sorta like discrimination against black people many years ago. people are going to look back and wonder why we ever didn't allow same sex marriages. i cant believe anyone would be against it. gay people have to see a man and a woman in public together. maybe this is more common, but to each their own dude. it doesn't even make sence. fawk, you love another guy, you should be able to do whatever you want with your life. its stupid.

My uncle is gay. If you seen him, you wouldn't be able to tell, he's not the flamboyant type. I respect him as a person and don't have a problem w/his sexuality so long as im not subjected to it. He has been w/his "partner" for over 20 years.
