VW Jetta is the #2 car choice of strippers, #1 being the Jeep Wrangler.

When chipped, 1.8t's can be very fast, otherwise, not so much. I'd upgrade to one if given one. It wouldn't be my first pick for 21k, though.

www.vwvortex.com would probably much more helpful than myself...I am just repeating what a vw friend of mine has told me.

One word

Reliabilty

I love Jettas but if you are looking for reliable then keep looking. I was looking at the VR6 Jettas when i bought my Accord and almost bought one but I wanted the Accord more because it felt more solid than the Jeta was. rattles creaks and groans from a new car should not be a factory standard.

Not bashing Jettas as they are awesome looking cars and they have great performance so please don't hit me over the head with www.vwvortex.com spammers since my next project may very well be a Jetta.
