I got sunburned really bad

Default I got sunburned really bad

I was at the beach yesterday and i got sunburned real bad
I keep putting on aloe, any suggestions besides aloe
like a home remedy

get this my mom yells at me and is like if you get burned really hardcore bad twice then your at risk of getting skin cancer
i'm like bugged out because i got burned really bad when i was in 3rd grade i had some bad blisters was wearing a tank top i never did after that
not to mention i'm irish with fair skin

irish potatoes will remove some of the burn....don't ask me how i know....just one of the many useless tidbits stuck in my brain

Vinegar...take a bath in vinegar..it takes the sting away. So does baking soda..but vingegar works better. :thumbup:

Meg is right! Vingegar baths, then go get Vaseline intensive care, Advanced Healing (heals dry skin)

That will help your skin heal - and don't worry about one sunburn, but if you're always burnt, then yeah you could have an elevated chance of skin cancer

I have lived in Florida my whole life! I've also had many sunburns vinegar will sting while you are putting it on, but it WILL take the sting out

and don't forget to get the lotion! It will HELP cool the burn and heal the skin!!

when i was younger... like 7th grade..... i was burned really bad, my back was covered in blisters and i didnt realize they were there until my mom saw yellow spots all over my shirt.... yup, they had all popped. She was all freaked out and called emergency after hours thing.....
