Thanks! You'll probably enjoy that '03 Cobra you're thinking about, too. I haven't driven one yet, but those cars are flat out sweet. Ford definately got it right for once.

I'm going for the "sleeper" look with my car, and alot of people fall for it. I don't think it's going to be much of a sleeper anymore, though. I drove it a few blocks today and it sounds like an all out drag car. I LUB these cams. You can hear the blower whining about 250 feet away, too.

I would have driven it more, but I'm having alternator and/or battery problems and the car won't hold a charge. Really pissed me off, because I was SO looking forward to driving it home today (it's at James' house where I've been working on it).

Oh well.

You're right I shouldnt bash imports as a whole, I dont like ricers.
I'm a car enthusiast not just a Mustang enthusiast. Most the people on this board seem to be car enthusiasts as well.
Hell, my roomate drives a Prelude.
But you proved to have the ricer mentality.

Hey it's James!

Hey, I just thought of something. I wonder if I didn't blow a fuse on the way to the gas station earlier. I never thought to check them because I was so pissed off.

I'm going to look for my owner's manual in a second and figure out which fuse/fuses are in line with the alternator and battery.

I hope it's something that simple.

I ran nitrous for about 8 months. I always got shit, too. My especially favorite comment is when people call superchargers or turbos "naturally aspirated" engines, but accuse nitrous of "forcing air into the engine".

That is hands down the dumbest comments I've EVER heard. I think they're just jealous of the torque. I LOVE nitrous torque and will miss mine desperately. I made 453ft/lbs at the wheels with a 125 dry shot. At like 3000 rpms. *sigh*

Very true. I just love wiping that grin off someone's face that spent $3 grand on a blower, and I beat them by a number of cars.

The only thing about running nitrous on a small engine is that it can't "inhale" as much as a larger engine. Like a 2.0L can't take as much as a 5.0L which can't take as much as a 7.0L and so on and so forth but that's just part of the game.

Yeah I know all about the last part, but it's just the stereotype I don't like. I think its hilarious that people call nitrous cheating. "oh i'll run you off the bottle." You gonna take off your blower/turbo then big boy? No you're gonna hide behind it.
