any dreamweaver4 users?

I wouldn't say it's the easiest program nor the hardest, it definitely does have a leaning curve as with all macromedia products IMO.

The best way is to just use it, create simple sites, try new things out. I'm still learning new things and I've been using dreamweaver for years.

Aside from that hit up the dreamweaver forums, tutorials, walk-throughs...

You should know HTML before using DW. Otherwise, you are going to approach it all wrong. Just remember, even though a lot of graphics apps work in layers, this one does not. Think of each component as a piece to a puzzle. Every time you add a new piece, it effects absolutely everything else around it.
