Default another quick quiz: celebrity deaths.

Princess Di did very little in terms of usefulness during her life...that is to say she didn't really change the world in anyway other than just existing...however her death, while tragic as it may be, completely eclipsed that of another, much more stellar individual. this particular woman died the day after Princess Di but the media barely mentioned it. Most people asked couldn't tell you this woman's name....can you?

Who died the day after Princess Di?

To say that qabout di is a very narrow view actually.

She married a Prince when she herself came from modest beginnings. She bore the sons of the Prince, one of which may very well be the nations future king. She had excellent public presence and with that brought a comfortability back to the throne of England amongst its people. Public relations soared with her being there.

Narrow view indeed.

But to answer your question it was indeed Mother Theresa.

Not the point..

Di was much more popular and in the peoples eyes much more than Mother Theresa was therefore she had the peoples eyes on her.

Mother Theresa on the other hand was not looking for publicity and because of this she didn't gain the camera time the same as others can and do.

Thats part of being a saint....its not for glory or riches:doh:

i don't know any celebrity who would. her goal was to reduce the number of landmines that are being used and try to help people who lost limbs because of it.

she bought much needed attention to the issue that was over loooked for many many years.

her going out and digging for landmines would have done far far less than her bringing attention to the problem (world wide attention)
