Default Honda civic similars...which would you go with!

My coworker just bought a 2011 civic and isn't too fond (aren't they falling in quality anyhow) of it and wants to trade for something different. She can get a fully loaded Ford focus and is leaning toward that. I seem to remember hearing that Ford has come back in quality. What are same class cars (great bang for buck, she likes bells and whistles like sunroof, heated seats, and other accessories that reel people in.
I've also heard that hyundai are high quality (finally). What would you roll in? And don't say a civic.

Any brand as long as it is same class.

Where does this coworker live where they need heated seats?

What exactly does she find wrong with the 2011 Civic?

Seriously, I've come from a BMW to a 2011 and have yet to find one thing about it that it lacks.

Mazda 3, Ford Focus, Hyundai Elantra and the new Accent come to mind immediately.
Ford Fiesta is also an option, but only if we're talking manuals.
Their dual-clutch "automatic" has had issues lately.

But honestly, she should've driven all of them before signing for the Civic.
What's her plan to get out of it -- without getting hammered on resale?

She finds it bland. She doesn't like it and finds it boring..

As to the deal, i guess she has 2 weeks to try it (her husband is military... Maybe something through that...) but ford says they can flop the loan over without any problems.

The good news is,people and stealerships are still fooled into believing honda is the best quality.
So she going to take an Loss that's for sure, but it won't be as bad as other makes and models.
I'm stilled stunned at what they gave me for my trade in "08 accord v6."

Hyundai,Kia,chevy, and ford have come along way.
she need to test drive this time though.:nono:

I mean, not to sound biased, but it is a Civic. What the hell did she expect? (not you)

I would say it's hard to find "excitement" in that price category.

If she finds the Civic bland, the Hyundais won't be different enough, I suspect.
Does she want more power? Better handling?

Bland is a blanket term... and a common problem.
