Default Test drive

Me and my dad went and test drove that Accord today. Rode as good as it looked. What's best is I have mine to compare it to. I guess mine has been shit for awhile cause this one rode so damn smooth. The engine was smooth as silk straight up to 6k, noticeable power difference from mien too. Shocks felt stiffer, brakes felt better. The interior is nice, misters work, headelights flip up and down, all brake lights work. The shifts were nice, clutch pretty grabby, at least as good as mine.

Doesnt look like its every had any bodywork judging by the tips in the "everything to consider when you buy a new car thread". Mine must seriously be going to shit cause this one was much nicer.

Downsides, one blinker bulb out, still no A/C, couple decent dents body still nicer than mine tho, engine was absolutley filthy and smoked around the spark plugs a little. I figured it was either the flith burnign around the plugs or a bad valve cover gasket. Neither is a big problem so I'll prolly just engine brite the thing and see what it is.

One thing tho about the seatbelts, seemed to have the same problem as mine, when you pull hard on them they dont lock. In the back seat they do lock and in the front seat of my Honda Odyssey they lock as well. The guy said they autmatically lock when you hit the brake. somethign about an interia activator or w/e. Is he bullshitting or am I right. I know Honda has a lifetime warranty on seatbelts but if he doesnt knwo that I might be able to knock the price down some.

Any help or opinions apprecaited, prolly gonna buy tmmrw.
