Default whats the difference between a hornet and a wasp?

theres a huge nest forming right outside the door of my apartment. been about 6weeks since it started.. so yah, its growing exponentially these days

Midnight fire show is what those bastards need!

Get a nice molitov cocktail and introduce them to it!

Oh and hornets look like long bees... wasps are usually black and/or brown and have long long legs that dangle way down when flying....

Hornets are yellow and black, like a bee, Wasps are usually a brown/black color.

I'm no expert by far... and there's bound to be versions of the wasp I don't know about... but if you just showed me that pic I'd say it's a hornet not a wasp. :dunno:

Food for the fire either way, get rid of them ASAP!!!

We had a nest a few years ago the size of a basketball. I threw a rock at it and ran for my life.
