Not sure about you....but I clear out my temp files, history files, and cookies everyday....


Anyway, common Chevere....show me your extensive computer knowledge and tell me how this stays on my computer forever.....

Chevere you are right and wrong at the same time.

It does store a thumbnail size image as a cookie file but you can indeed remove them easily enough.

Technically if anyone wanted to and had the knowledge they could pull any file ever viewed or used out of your computer at pretty much any given time they wanted but highly unlikely it would happen.

i thought you were smart :happysad: Deleting your temp files, history files, and cookies isn't enough. I really don't know how to explain this to you, its kind of like a book. All your deleting is that reference in the table of contents. that "page" is still there, and will be until more room is needed on your computer and is replaced by a different file.

Even with programs, there is still traces on your hard drive.

what programs are good? Content Cleanup? Internet Eraser? If your temp file is cleaned out, history cleaned out, and cache is cleaned out, what else can a normal (not computer geek j/k) person do to "erase" their tracks?

Low Level Format will get rid of it all.
