Default Rare BMW sighting or no?? (M6)

i was cruisin to work.. this black old school bimmer was behind me.. then he shot passed me and it looked like a longer version of the old school m3coupes but with a rear lip spoiler, nice wheels, and M6 on the back... imma n00b when it comes to BMW but im pretty sure its legit.. is it? and how rare are these? :dunno:

Sounds like an 8 series...I had no idea that there was an m6.

I have seen two around this area but they are pretty rare sightings since the cost is in the zone.

Nice cars though.

back in the days it was the bling car.

even came with a really odd sized rim/tires/

15.6xx or something like that. 286hp? I think and 60 around 6 seconds. All this back in 1988/89. Of course the damn thing cost enough!!!

They usually sell for under 20K now. Engine requires quite a bit of maintenance since it's essentially a race car engine, complete with ITB
