Default Help me out.

I'm about to buy a 1993 300zx that I seen on eBay, but I called the guy up and he's going to end the auction early so that I don't have to worry about losing the auction. The problem is I have to send the money via wire transfer, or cashiers check, but is there any way I can make sure that if he doesnt ship the car I can still be able to recover my money? I'm sure this guy is legit because his feedback reviews are all good and he works for an actual company which is a licensed dealer. The company is called RPM Lenders which is located in Inglewood, CA. I just want to see if anyone has had any similar situations. I dont know if I have to ask him to write up a contract before I send him money or what.

legit or not legit, ask him to do COD. btw, how much are you expecting to pay for shipping anyways? i'd never prefer to buy car via ebay.

I wish I could look at it, but since I cant find any decent cars in Charlotte, NC I have to resort to other sources and eBay is what I picked.

if you need someone to take a trip there and check it out, i could probably do it for a small fee (gas and lunch maybe). i'm not too far from inglewood.
