Owned by the USPS...twice!
Have shipping prices with the US Postal service gone up? So far, I've been owned twice by shipping charges.
1st incident, I won a motorcycle valve cover on Ebay for $5. I know it's light enough to twirl on my pinky. Shipping cost? $18!
2nd incident, MaxBoosT found the Club Cover for me. I've been looking for it for a while so I really appreciate it. It costs $27 after tax. Shipping on this simple metal dish? $12.15!
What happened to the days when it used to be cheaper to ship USPS than UPS? Is it because of the summer gas prices? Is it because the USPS has had its share of financial troubles? Or have prices always been like this?

1day starts at about 16 and up.. 3day starts at 3.50 (priority) so they do rape you on 1day.. but 3day is the way to go imo.. the 6 day is under a buck... yea it varies per weight and zip code.. but not by much
