Default insurance discussion...

at miata forum

that made me sad

"Oh, and for what it is worth...Prudential gets about $200 every 6 months from me with an increased single limit liability, no collision and a $0 deductible on comprehensive. The car is a second vehicle on the policy. 'course I have the advantages of being an over 30 F "

Fuji have you considered increasing your coverage to 100/300/100?

now that you own a house.

Don't worry, I pay over 1600 every six months with full coverage and $500 deductibles. Fortunately, the "big problem" ( ) falls off my record next January!

WI doesn't require an Insurance. Don't get it.

if the car insurance will only pay say 50K for injuries and property damage, then the other party can sue you and if they win, you maybe forced to sell your house to pay for it.

i have 100/300/100 coverage now but i'm also looking into getting umbrella insurance so i'll be covered for up to 1M.

Its your insurance coverage. Currently I changed mine from the 100/500/100 to a 50/100/50 [I think ] It saved me almost $100.00 bones.
