when i first became an anime fan (92/93) we didnt have thems fancy GB crap! we had to shell out 24-30 bucks for a video with 2 espisodes or a movie just to get what we wanted!! damn wyoungins with their fancy shmancy GB crap... :P

Ninja Scroll, Berserk, and Hellsing all have my vote. Kenshin was great up until the end of the Kyoto Arc.

Video Girl Ai was pretty cool, but the ending made no sense.

Totoro is also pretty good, even though it's for kids. I also liked Princess Mononoke, and Spirited Away. I haven't had a chance to see his other stuff.

Trigun sucks. I was disappointed.

FLCL, even with only 6 episodes, FAWKING ROCKS.

Kenshin is a close second, along with Cowboy Bebop. Lupin is funny too...hehe
