i have att and on the national gsm plan..
and to b completely honest with you..
i dont get much signal from my area...
maybe its different in urs..
when im out of OC...i have better signals than most of my friends phones..<theyre with cingular and tmobile>

i think its alrite if u do live in a different area..
because u can pretty much choose the area codes that u want..

TDMA and CDMA battery life is about 1 day if you talk on the phone
my gf had sprint CDMA and my sis has Verizon.
unless you like your phone to die in a day, go with GSM
check cingular and tmobile. they have a 35xx. basically the same phone as the one you posted but GSM

ATT is good. just make sure your phone is GSM ie: it comes with a SIM card.
my friend's 3390 was not gsm. the phone glitched one day erased all the numbers except mine. and then she thought i did it cuz it was april first

h: i didn't do it. didn't even see her that day

i have the se t68i and the battery is actually very impressive..
