Yesterday. My two cousins didn't care about my grandfather until he died. They were over his house pretty much ransacking it. The older one wants to buy it (don't ask me why, it's only 2 bedroom) and it was smoked in for 50 years. It's well built, but my grandfather just kind of gave up the past 13 years my grandmother passed away, so it's dirty. So, my cousin can't get a loan, but my aunt can through the VA, mainly because my cousin was a ho, got married at 21, had an affair, and her husband lefther and she couldn't afford the lovely bills, so she filed bankruptcy. I went over there to cut the grass, as I usually did in the summers. I just wanted to go. But sure enough the bastards are there cleaning it up, discussing what granpa didn't do and why he was so bad. I got pissed off and told the both of my cousins that they never came around when he was alive, and it's pretty ironic now that he's dead that they're over there. It just made me mad, it's not how my grandfather wanted it. He wanted the house sold. Not how my aunt said "We want to keep it in the family." Then I remembered I just have to move on. I'm hoping we move soon, because my mom has pent up anger with my aunt (they're BOTH not blood relatives to my grandfather, but my mom knew this would cause problems). My mom would cook for my grandfather, but she knew he didn't like to socialize, so we would just tell him to come into the house in the middle of the day and pick it up. My aunt was mad that my grandfather wouldn't go out with her for her 50th birthday, and wouldn't come over their house as much. I don't know. She told me I was going to hell. I can't tell people how to parent their child, especially at 16, but they do too much for her (the wedding exceded 50k). Oh well. Time to move on I guess.
