so im developing a thing for VW's.....
i awalys thought they were kinda cool but never really was into them till recently when my buddy bought a mk3 golf 4 door, and i love it, they are just nice cars. i just like how they have all kinds of cool little german amenities
so far hes had the car for about 2 months and has:
KYB GR2's
H&R sports
custom bent cat-back exhaust
VR6 guages
ABD tuning chip
BBS wheels w/ kumho 712's
eyelids
smoked lenses all the way around
anyhow here are pics of his car i took for him last night

Nice, I quite like A platform VWs. Especially Mark IV's with chipped turbo motors. VR6 is cool too though. 2.0L is a little on the weak side (only an 8V head?!), but the Neuspeed supercharger kit will take care of that real quick!

My friend has a VW just like that with some of the same stuff. They look ok but I hate everything else about VWs. Their engines are layed out weird, their dashboards are high as hell, they have gay light switches, they have stupid ****ing crank seats (worst idea ever). Lots of German cars have that shit. It pisses me off. Thats why I love Honda, it all makes sense to me.

the stupid light switch is used on mb/bmws/audi/etc.
also the "stupid" crank seat allows you to keep your seat back at the same angle when you let tilt it to let people in the back seat

As for the seats I've never ever had to adjust any "Japanese" style seat back after letting someone in. Anytime I ever drove people around however I make them get in on the passenger side because its just easier. F' the passengers.
