be careful it is still a new bike so going over like 60-65 should be your top speed or maybe less then that until like 500 miles atleast you dont wanna break your new toy now do you :goodjob:

thanx guys. yeah i'm taking it easy. haven't gone over 55 yet. to be honest i'm still too scared to do so. plus i started focusing on slow riding and sharp turns which is what you get tested on for the license. thats actualy harder, especialy on slow right turns.

Congrats on your purchase.

May I suggest that you take the motorcycle safety course , especially since your trying to teach yourself. I myself took the class b4 I bought a bike and I've had a few occasions where I've almost dropped her from 0 mph to 75 mph heading towards oncoming traffic in the twisties.

Your gonna have a lot to learn so ride safe bro. Dont be a squid!

Agreed. My bike isn't anywhere as cool as CPL's gixxer or your SV so all I can say is to practice and try and gain as much knowledge and experience as possible. I've got a looooong way to go myself.

You're planning on getting protective gear right? :happysad:
