the point is to pick one or the other!

and for Black2000GSR, yeah I agree, I would like the car to look good not necessarily 'showy'

If I had the cash, I would get a fairly quick car and then detail it a bit. Nothing in the way of serious power mods. Just keep it cool for the street and be able to have fairly rewarding track days every now and again.

For example....

Z4
M3
AMG

(more rationaly)

Get an Evo, Sti, RX-8, Mazdaspeed and leave it stock power size.

I'd sink some money into suspension

like someone said..
it really depends on what car..

if i had an M3...id buy more show mods than go mods...since its already fast and i dont want a 12s street driven monster

but if i had a civic...id make it go faster b4 thinking of putting anything in it...

btw...im all stock now and no $$$...
no show no go h:

Theres nothing wrong with a little show, as long as you've got the "go" to back it up. A MILD body kit (similar to a factory kit) would be nice, some JDM tails, decent 16" or smaller rims and a CF hood would make your car look nice. Then all you'd have to do is slap a b16 in there and you'd have both!

There is nothing that says you have to do it strictly one way or the other.
