Default june 16, 2002....

.... is the very day I purchased a hyundai elantra. I would like to tell all of you guys that I had no problems at all, whatsoever, and there are no repairs on the car at all, except for the taillight that was smashed by [edited]. i said that i would tell you guys a year from now a year ago, so here it is.

:fawk: ya if you didnt belive that the koreans could do it. Hyundai is a good car company, unlike alot of people on this board were saying. Granted, its not on par with honda or toyota, but it does beat the domestic big three in build quality imo.

you can't vouch for a companies quality if you've owned the car for a freakin day. You have to own if for a few years to get a true sense of the build quality.

:werd:

no doubt man, but my thread was to let all these naysayers that said 'it'll have problems within a few months' that they're wrong. i know a few others that bought new hyundais and none of them had probs either.

i guess we can only wait to see the outcome
