They will of course find some plot hole to take advantage of and make use of it to explain how all the bad shit happens in T3.

I liked X2 far better than X-Men, but the original served its purpose of introducing all the characters in the series while still having some semblance of a story. It's not like Star Trek or something where they can get away with taking the cast of a tv show and making a long, expensive "episode" for the theaters, so the first one serves the purpose of introducing us to the main players.

Oh and who else noticed the silhouette in the lake at the end of X2 and knows from that why they have to make an X3? Might as well not spoil it though... :chuckles:

I would have to agree with Cameron. T3 is really pushing it. I dont think it will be as successful as 1 and 2. I really think it's trying to cash in on the name one last time. Just like the Batman flicks, it'll hurt the series more than help it.

there should be a 3 and more ...if they wanted to cover all the parallels in the comic book storyline.
