I think most people like the first one better because it's a whole story in and of itself. Once the third movie is out, I think people will like the second a little more.

maybe you've got it backwards... yeah. that must be it. The first one was revolutionary, like it had crazy good action, but it set down a great story, and there really wasn't even all that much action. I'm always a sucker for the first movie of a series, though. Since without it, no good or crappy sequels could be made.

Like Scream. the first one was original story, mostly. the killer who calls and has the mask, and the robe. just some regular messed up teenager. It was sort of revolutionary for horror flicks, instead of it being some mutant, or monster it was just a somewhat regular kid, and we didn't know who it was til the last few moments.

Just sayin first movies are better like 90% of the time.
