my bf and i decided on the trip home to break up for a while..after a year and a half it kinda sux but we both need to be apart for awhile..i dunno what to do being single , especailly how to act towards him since we plan on remaining close friends..

that sucks... sorry to hear. When my ex girlfriend and I broke up after almost 2 years it took like 5 months until we were cool to talk, but we are pretty close now.

 

no hes still a great guy,,we were good friends before, and plus it was mutual. im going over there to watch a car movie later. im just glad we're on good terms...if we were gunna kill eachother we would have done it on the 11 hr drive home

 

So basically you're still going to have sex, but you're not going to be officially his girlfriend or he your boyfriend.

Sorry to hear that as well. I borke up with my gf for nearly a year. We stayed good friends and got back together after we worked out our issues. We've moved in together since and never looked back.
