Default Problem w/header install, HELP!!!!!!!!!

Aight, I got the DC 4-2-1 header installed, but the 4-6" section of piping that goes from the collector to the cat converter won't sit flush to the collector, it's cockeyed:angry: So I disconnected it from the cat and tightened it to the collector first, then wrestled with it to get it back connected to the cat, now it won't sit flush on the cat:madfawk: Result:my car sounds like a bucket w/a major exhaust leakh: Anyone else have this problem and how did you fix it?

Thanks for all your help guys

I got it figured out w/the help of Nightshade Man, you came through for me big time, good looking out and like I said, the beers on me when you come down for the meet next month:thumbup:

Header is on, looks sweet, sounds sweet, gains aren't night and day noticeable, but according to the butt dyno, there definitely are gains, most noticeably on the lower end which is where it's needed the most. I'm a happy camper:yay:

Happy Fathers Day to me, Happy Fathers Day to me:joshers:

So are you saying it is coming down at an angle and not meeting up right? I don't see why it would be a huge deal since thats what the donut gasket is for.

I took a chill, relaxed a bit, went out and knocked it out. Turns out, the tapered piece at the end of the stock collector is actually a gasket(my first time messing w/headers, give me a break) and I didn't put it on the new collector(cause I didn't realize it was a gasketh: ).

no, no need for that. I pulled a noob move and left off the gasket that goes on the collectorh:
