Sister's Buying a car, help me out
She's buying a 2000(?) Ford Focus. Anything know about the longevity of these cars and any problems she might encounter? It has about 40K on it I was hoping someone might do a VIN lookup for me: 1FAFP3839YW107813

Just because the Carfax comes up clean doesn't mean that the car has had no major repairs or stuff done to it--it just means that it doesn't have a salvage title.
Oh and even as just basic transportation, the Focus is kind of crap. The SVT is pretty nice but I doubt that's what she's buying.
